ITS Rightfax service will be unavailable during this after-hours operating system software update. This scheduled outage is solely for the purpose of loading necessary updates to the system software. Rightfax application software will NOT be changed during this maintenance window.

Starting Friday, November 22, licensing for the Basic Communicator client will no longer be available as the software is no longer supported by the vendor. Premium Communicator licenses will not be impacted at this time.

Need to know:

The Communicator and UC-One Connect soft client applications are no longer supported by the vendor and will be replaced by a new software called PING.

Basic Communicator clients will *not* be migrated to the new client, PING, and will be turned off, beginning at 5PM on 11/21/2024.

Basic Communicator clients can choose to upgrade to PING by submitting a Telephone Service Request.

Communicator clients will not be uninstalled automatically and should be manually removed from your devices.

The phased transition to replace Premium Communicator (Desktop) and UC-One connect (mobile) clients will begin in January, 2025. A subsequent change plan will be submitted at that time.
