Beginning at 5:00pm on Friday 1/23, all campus desk phones will be rebooted in order to change the background and screensaver to the new UNC logo. During this time, phones across campus will restart one-by-one. Individual phones normally take between 5 and 10 minutes to reboot.
Since this is a very minor change, we do not expect it to have any negative effects on our phones. As always, if any user experiences trouble with their campus phone, they should open an incident via the ITS-Service Desk.
