ITS is working closely with Canvas’s parent company, Instructure, to determine its cybersecurity incident impacts specific to UNC-Chapel Hill. Instructure has provided a FAQ on the incident that has impacted thousands of schools nationwide. Any data breach information specific to our faculty and students will be promptly communicated to the impacted individuals. The registrar’s office will communicate directly with faculty to ensure grade submission options are available.
